I have not read the books, but this is an important point. I've seen all the movies and what I like most is the characters are all in school. There is a positive emphasis on study and discipline.
The students have an almost monastic routine. It reminds me of Stubenville for some reason. The movies remind me of my faith as a Roman Catholic, and when my kids are older I can use this material to teach, just like with LOTR or the Chronicles.
Yes. Contrary to the beliefs of some who have speculated that Harry will go off into the world searching for how to the means to destroy Voldemort, Merlin and I believe that he and his friends will end up at Hogwart's once again for the seventh and final year. We were just talking about that the other night, actually.
From plot perspective, if they go off into the world that is fine because I can use the allegory to teach how the characters’ knowledge and preparation is applied in the real world. Can you imagine having the conversation with your children as you are putting in your garden ;-) that Harry is able to do great things because he and the other characters had great preparation?
Or if it is more of the same, preparing for the battle (or life) at Hogwarts I would be just as pleased.
