post a commentLooks like it could be better than the last one ... but theb trailers are now a an art form distinct from the actual movie itself ... you can build a good trailer out of a junk movie ... eg the Star Wars Prequels. In some places
If it is to be better than the last then they have to get past the Hogwarts' playground acid feel of # 4 that felt like everything at the castle and grounds (epsecially the grounds ... and the graveyard) felt like it was shot on a side sound stage and then "laced" with a bunch of pyro-technich/cg graphics ... which the city shots from the trailer look like they at least get past some of that ... kinda feels a little bit Matrixy or something like that
Like I've stated before, and IMHO, these movies are all rushed into production compared to the Peter Jackson Lord of the Rings intepretation and other "matured" treatments of fantasy literature. I like certain scenes and loathe others. I've come to see the movies as a collection of scenes from the books rather than cohesive as a whole story; that has enabled me to give the movies good marks by ignoring their most hideous aspects.
I thought it was coming out in December. Shoot that sucks.
Not off topic but how old can your kids be before they can start on the books?
I would say probably between 6 and 8 depending on the kid.
