Mission Statement

We beleive that J. R. R. Tolkien, C. S. Lewis and others - otherwise known as the "Inklings" - along with G. K. Chesterton, George MacDonald and others produced some of the great literature in recent times. We also believe that some authors, most notably and most famous among them J. K. Rowling, are now carrying their torch by producing the same kind of literature, rich in its mythical narrative style and deeply Christian in its symbolism and morality. We are dedicated to discussing - in a weblog format - the content of these authors' works, the insights of scholars who have studied that richness, and all types of modern narrative media - both written and flim - in which we encounter a similar perspective on the world.
